Bicycle Touring is what started the wandering lifestyle which I now find myself living.

In an attempt to lose weight I started cycling daily on the Blackstone River Greenway, an 11.5 mile long, paved, off-road bikeway running along the Blackstone Canal near my home in Cumberland, RI.

When I realized that the Blackstone River Greenway was part of the East Coast Greenway, a 3,000-mile-long route which reached as far south as Key West, Florida, I decided I had to ride it.

And what better way to do that than to use the trip to raise money for a charity that was near and dear to my heart, Meals on Wheels.

The journal for the East Coast Greenway bicycle tour is not currently available, (This is an article that references my East Coast Greenway trip, written by Mike Lucibella) but the Southern Tier bicycle tour is available here online if you're interested.
