The San Diego Trans-County Trail, also known as the SDTCT, is a 150 mile hike that goes from the Salton Sea to Torrey Pines State Beach in San Diego County, California. The most popular time to hike the trail seems to be early January, and it's possible to find a hiking partner at that time on the Facebook group for this trail if one were so inclined.

The hardest part of this trail is the long water-less stretch leaving the Salton Sea, which affected my own solo, non water caching, hike. You can read about my SDTCT hike there.

Unfortunately I shot no video of this hike or the Salton Sea area.
