When the hike out to the waterfall gives you blisters but you don’t care because you are going to be soaking in a mountain river all day… but there’s no water when you get there. You have to climb down into the canyon to drink from the puddles that still exist, breaking your tripod, and then walking the desolate wagon wheel road across the windswept grassland in search of a way back.
