General Information

What is Cleanshave's Tool?

Cleanshave's Tool is a comprehensive Stellar asset, liquidity, and wallet analyzer. It's a mobile-friendly, browser-based explorer that provides real-time information about any Stellar token, detailed liquidity pool breakdowns, and wallet analysis features. The goal is to be the most comprehensive liquidity analysis tool in the Stellar ecosystem.

What can I do with this tool?

You can:

  • Search for any asset on the Stellar network by code or issuing account
  • View detailed liquidity pool breakdowns for tokens
  • Search wallet addresses to see asset and liquidity holdings
  • Browse curated lists of assets and permanently locked vaults
  • View detailed liquidity pool information
  • Access direct links to StellarExpert for verification

Is it free to use?

Yes, Cleanshave's Tool is free because I believe in Stellar's mission to create an open, accessible global financial system. This may change if hosting costs become prohibitive. I live outdoors most of the year on a modest budget. If you'd like to support this and related Stellar projects, consider holding Cleanshave tokens in your wallet or adding them to a liquidity pool agianst XLM or your own token.

Stellar Network & Assets

Why Stellar?

Stellar is a payment technology platform with a built-in order book where markets and settlement are core functions. It's energy and cost-efficient, making it ideal for developing a distributed liquidity network. As Stellar puts it: "Stellar is a decentralized protocol that enables you to send money to anyone in the world, for fractions of a penny, instantly, and in any currency."

Can I trust the assets found with this tool?

Absolutely not. This is not financial advice. I've invested significantly in Stellar development because I believe in the network, but this is money I never expect to see again. Take everything with a large grain of salt. Even Alice, which I consider the most promising Stellar project, cannot guarantee returns. All of this is highly experimental.

How do I evaluate if an asset is worth buying?

This is highly subjective and depends on your individual goals and risk tolerance. Some technical indicators to consider include:

  • Locked issuing accounts (prevents further token creation)
  • High percentage of supply in liquidity pools
  • Large trustline count (number of holders)

However, remember that digital assets have no inherent value, only a relative value based on market dynamics, utility, and speculation.

Why don't some assets show price or market cap?

All token prices are calculated against USDC. If a token doesn't have a liquidity pool established with USDC, the price cannot be determined. Without a price, market cap (price × total supply) cannot be calculated.

Why does the liquidity pool show “half” the value compared to other platforms?

Most platforms display the combined dollar value of both assets in the pool. This tool, however, displays the value of the asset being analyzed, which is effectively half of the pool’s total dollar value, because that’s the only value the token truly has in an Automated Market Maker (AMM).

In an AMM, a token’s value is not absolute, it is defined entirely by the asset it’s paired against. If a token were removed from all its pools, there would be no market for it, and its price would quickly fall to zero. The displayed value reflects the reality that a token’s worth is tied to the opposite asset, not the total value of the pool.

If you prefer the “full” pool value, simply double the figure shown.

Why do some assets not show the proper logo or QR code?

Cleanshave's Tool was initially designed for my personal use, not for public consumption, and for a limited number of tokens. It was buillt to use the asset code alone to locate both the logo and QR code, and since it does not currently use the issuing account of an asset to distinguish one from another, this can cause a discrepancy in the not only the images being displayed, but the asset description and total supply as well.

This can get confusing when looking at assets outside of my ecosystem with identical asset codes. Until I am able to update Cleanshave's Tool to retrieve the toml description and official logo for each asset, you should always verify the information being presented. More so if you are looking at assets not held by either Cleanshave or Alice.

Technical Information

What is a trustline?

A trustline is a requirement on the Stellar network that enables an account to hold and trade assets other than the native XLM currency. It serves as an explicit opt-in mechanism between your account and an asset's issuing account, essentially telling the network "I agree to accept this asset."

How do I add a trustline?

You can add trustlines using wallets like Alice Wallet or Lobstr:

  • Alice Wallet - Alice-related assets have a single button for adding trustlines
  • Lobstr - Go to the asset page, find the QR code, and scan it using Lobstr's QR scanner. If using the same device, screenshot the QR code and upload it through Lobstr's photo option

This feature will eventually be built into Cleanshave's Tool.

What is an AMM, and how does it affect token value?

An Automated Market Maker (AMM) allows users to swap between two assets at any time, without needing a buyer or seller on the other side. It uses a mathematical formula to keep prices balanced based on supply.

For most AMMs, and all Stellar AMMs, the formula is: x × y = k

Where x and y are the amounts of the two tokens in the pool, and k is a constant.

As one token is added or removed, the AMM automatically adjusts the price of both tokens to keep the product (k) the same. This creates a fair, transparent way to price and trade tokens, even in small or illiquid markets.

However, AMMs don’t give tokens value, they only reflect the relative value as it exists between two assets.

What is Relative Value (rV)?

Relative Value (rV) is the idea that a token’s value is only as strong as the asset it’s paired against. In a two-token AMM, each token’s rV can be expressed as:

rV = 0.5 × L

Where L is the total liquidity pool value. In other words, each token only “borrows” its price from the opposite token in the pair.

What is a vault?

A vault is a Stellar wallet that has been permanently locked to prevent fund removal. This guarantees liquidity since the AMM liquidity pool shares held by that wallet can never be removed. This provides a permanent market for asset pairs that will exist as long as the Stellar network operates. Vaults are the main value proposition of a distributed liquidity network, the vaults add value, the tokens allow you to access that value.

What do "Total Burned" and "Not Yet Distributed" mean?

Five tokens (Alice, X, Y, Siemens, and AliciaBold) display these figures to track distribution and burn metrics. Each token's supply is locked in a vault, and tokens are only released when purchased. As market values fluctuate, Alice automatically adjusts circulating supply by taking advantage of arbitrage opportunities to purchase and permanently remove tokens from circulation.

Vision & Purpose

Why does Cleanshave's Tool exist?

This tool, Alice, and all related Stellar development projects exist to give people a way to survive coming economic shifts. Instead of trading time for money, we need to own assets that generate value regardless of our direct input. Instead of depending on wages, we need to collect returns from ownership. Machines may run the world, but perhaps we can own enough of it to ensure financial stability for generations.

How can I support the project?

Cleanshave's Tool is a work in progress. If you'd like to help, consider holding Cleanshave tokens in your wallet or adding them to a liquidity pool agianst XLM or your own token. Your support helps keep this and related tools free for the community.
