Plum Orchard Gap Shelter
Waited for the 9am shuttle to Dick’s Creek Gap and ended up getting trail magic there. Two hot dogs and a cup of soda, before hiking out. By not staying a second night at the hostel that’s $25 worth of food I can eat later.
Resupply was easy between other hikers who had too much in their mail drops to hiker box leftovers. Definitely have enough to make it to the NOC.
Reading, sitting in the sun.
Not pushing miles while there is still daylight is a lot harder than it sounds.
(Oh yeah, had a single mayo packet and was going to throw it away at Top of Georgia, instead I threw it in the hiker box and found a full bag of beef jerky. So amazing.)
