XH5 Monthly Report 016

Changes on the Horizon

Hello friends,

I apologize for being late with this month’s report. I was hiking in Big Bend National Park then drove up to Roswell, New Mexico by way of the Marfa Lights Viewing Area and haven’t had a lot of signal.

It’s also tax time here in America, something that usually isn’t on my mind due to the fact that I have no income. Despite the fact that I donated a chunk of my savings to XH5, and all of that belongs to the XH5 token holders, some people might consider that “mine.” Which it isn’t. But for the sake of argument, I ran the numbers (using the tax tool on Stellar Expert) and it turns out that I have a loss across all of my Stellar wallets. Even without the personal loss represented by my donations to encourage Stellar adoption.

My personal accounts should in no way be confused with the Shave account. That is where my donations form the underlying value of the XH5 token, and that is where the liability for repurchasing all outstanding XH5 tokens end. It is my hope to make this more clear by moving the Shave account to a completely different entity at some point this year.

At that point, XH5 would no longer be a personal token. Instead, it would be maintained by multiple people through a single legal entity. I would encourage any XH5 token holders to reach out to me if you are interested in being part of this new entity and furthering the cause of Stellar adoption.
